Pod Assembly, Process & Finishes

Cabin Assembly
Assembly point gaters all parts of the pod (pod floor, wall panels and ceiling panel). Pod floor and wall panels are aligned and mechanically fixed and the ceiling panel secured in place. Quality control secures and checks all fixings in compliance with the quality assurance procedures.
Tanking System
The Modulor bathroom pod undergoes an intensive tanking system to ensure water tightness of the pod construction. BASF Construction Chemicals (PCI) guidelines on the entire design of tanking system, tile adhesives and grouting system have been strictly observed to ensure that specific off-site construction requirement would be meet, taking into consideration that assembly procedures, transportation methods and pod installation.
Tiling, Adhesives & Grout
Modulor's tiling and tanking system, in compliance with BASF Construction Chemical, uses tile adhesives and grout to meet requirements with regards to manufacturing, transport and installation processes. A variety of tile adhesives and grouts are used to suit specific application requirements.
Internal Finishes
Modulor is dynamic when it comes to internal finishes. We are able to work with a variety of finishes to comply with the clients' requirements. Clients can select a supplier from which to procure specific finishes or Modulor can secure the products throughout trusted suppliers as we have access to a wide array of products.
